Why Samsung is sticking with the Galaxy Note 8 | for stock rom go to rompure.com

The Galaxy Note 7 may have had some bad luck with its batteries, but that doesn't mean that Samsung will be killing off its Note line.

Samsung mobile head DJ Koh has confirmed that there will be a follow-up to the Galaxy Note 7. Speaking to CNET, Koh said, 

“I will bring back a better, safer, and very innovative Note 8.”

After the Galaxy Note 7 mess, which included several units catching fire, two recalls, and an airplane ban, some thought that Samsung might abandon the Galaxy Note family. After all, at least with Samsung's next couple of devices, there will probably be a few people asking if they explode. Koh believes that there are “lots and lots of loyal Note customers,” though.

The Galaxy Note series has produced some of the biggest and most popular smartphones in recent years, and so it's not terribly surprising to learn that Samsung is prepping a Note 8. The Galaxy Note 7 was pretty well-received before it got recalled and discontinued, so if Samsung can create another high-end Android phablet and avoid any overheating issues, it could return the Galaxy Note name to is pre-fire glory.

In Friday, 20th January 2017,  Twinkas has earlier notified it's users that it would be going on a Maintenance Mode till Tuesday. That caused panic to most users and new users were not matched with anyone till after maintenance mode. The honor is based on the opinions of 3,800 executives, directors, analysts and experts. Apple was not only named the most admired company in the world but is also the most valuable company with a market capitalization close to $700 billion. 

Other company which made the top five list  include Amazon, Starbucks, Berkshire Hathaway, and Disney while Facebook and Microsoft may it to the top ten.

To make the list, a company has to be among the top 1,000 U.S. firms in terms of revenue. The contenders on the list are then ranked on things like innovation, quality and social responsibility.

Facebook wants to show more ads to people who watch its videos and start making money for the people who supply it with those videos.
Industry sources say the social network is going to start testing a new “mid-roll” ad format, which will give video publishers the chance to insert ads into their clips after people have watched them for at least 20 seconds.

For now, Facebook will sell the ads and share the revenue with publishers, giving them 55 percent of all sales. That’s the same split offered by YouTube, which dominates the online video ad business.
If the new ads take off, they could represent the first chance many video publishers have had to make real money from the stuff they’ve been running on Facebook.
Facebook began moving aggressively to show videos to its users a couple of years ago, and by 2016 said those users were watching 100 million hours per day. But unlike almost everyone else in the ad business, CEO Mark Zuckerberg has forbidden “pre-roll” video ads, which run before a clip starts.
That means that most publishers have seen little or no ad revenue from the clips they show on Facebook, even though many are spending considerable resources trying to build up a video presence there. That stance has also discouraged some Facebook publishers, like sports leagues, from putting valuable content on the network.
Last year, Facebook started allowing publishers to create videos sponsored by advertisers, which has allowed some publishers — most notably Buzzfeed’s Tasty unit — to generate significant ad dollars. Sources say that decision came after BuzzFeed executives complained to Facebook executives that they weren’t making enough money from Facebook video.
Facebook has also tried other experiments to create advertising opportunities for publishers. In 2015, it created a separate video section and allowed some publishers to share revenue from standalone video ads it ran there. Last year, it also began testing mid-roll ads in live videos.
The plan Facebook is trying now could have the biggest impact, since it includes all kinds of videos throughout the network — most crucially in the News Feed, its primary distribution mechanism.
A Facebook rep declined to comment. But last fall, Facebook VP Dan Rose, who runs the company’s content operations, told Poynter that he expected to talk about expanding the mid-roll ads it was trying in live videos to more video formats “early next year.”
The parameters of the new ads also suggest that Facebook is placing more importance on the time people spend watching videos, rather than the total number of videos they watch.
Up until now, Facebook has defined a “video view” as any time a user watches a clip for a minimum of three seconds. That’s been a source of controversy in the media business, especially since Facebook automatically plays videos when they show up in users’ feeds.
But the new Facebook ads can only run once a viewer has watched a clip for at least 20 seconds. And they can also only appear in videos that run for at least 90 seconds. In other words, Facebook is telling publishers that in order to make money, they need to make clips that go on for a while and keep users’ attention.

Google has launched the YouTube Go beta app in the Play Store. The new app allows you to save videos to your device or SD card for offline viewing — potentially reducing your mobile data usage.

It works much like the regular YouTube app but when you select a video to view, YouTube Go will ask if you instead want to download it. Videos are available in two resolutions “basic quality” (which looks like 144p) and “standard quality” (possibly 360p): there’s no access to HD resolutions here. However, the app is designed primarily for regions with comparatively slower internet speeds on devices with small storage capacities.

You can also share offline videos with friends via Bluetooth, though Google notes this will require access to the internet to perform a 15kb security check once the video is received.

It’s not available in the Play Store in all regions just yet — its Play Store description has some Hindi, alongside a fair bit of emoji and an English description — but you can try and download it in your location via the button below. Note that you’ll have to verify your phone number to install it.

Popular Ponzi scheme,MMM Nigeria, has introduced bitcoin, the world’s best performing currency, as part of its mode of payment in its comeback plans.

The Ponzi scheme, which froze accounts of participants on December 13, 2016, is preparing to return, and it is throwing up a number of plans to get its community active again.

Bitcoin, the increasingly popular cryptocurrency or digital currency, was the best performing currency in 2016, appreciating by more than 100 percent in 2016, from about $400 per bitcoin to over $1,000 per bitcoin.

Prior to the freeze of MMM, participants were allowed to provide help in bitcoin, but they were paid back in naira. However, the new plan allows participants to receive payment in bitcoin, and watch their monies grow in bitcoin.

In a statement to participants, MMM said “due to the recent sharp price fluctuations of Bitcoin, MAVRO-BTC is being introduced in the system”.

“So far, we have only had Mavro-Naira in the System. Even though you provided help via Bitcoin, your Bitcoins, anyway, were recalculated into the Nigerian Naira at the exchange rate at the moment of providing help, and you were credited with Mavro-Naira in your PO,” the statement read.

“It was the naira amount that grew. In other words you received 30% a month specifically in the naira (not in Bitcoins, although you originally provided help using Bitcoins).

“Now, you have a chance to have 30% growth of the Bitcoin amount, not the naira amount. So, acquire MAVRO-BTC which will be credited in your PO and will grow at a 30% monthly growth rate. In a month not only 30% will be added to your initial amount, but it can increase itself due to Bitcoin price growth.

“And what if Bitcoin price is going to fall?
